Welcome to our Year 6 homepage!

In Year 6 we focus on three main topics across the year: In the Autumn term, Human Planet, Spring term World War II, which is history based and Summer term Evolution and Putting on a Play.

To summarise the knowledge, skills and key vocabulary that underpin the teaching of each subject through a topic, our teachers  have created termly ‘EP Knowledge Organisers’. These come home with children early in each term in hard copy, and are shared on the links below. We expect children to have learned the content of their organiser by the end of each term, and we quiz children on their knowledge. Families can support their children in this by displaying the organiser at home and asking children what they can remember.

Over the course of a year, our termly subject areas shift between history, geography and science.
